Dear Praying Friends,
“Give unto the LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” Ps. 29:2
The middle of April we were blessed to have Dr. J.B. Godfrey as our keynote speaker for our Missions Conference. What a delight to have our church challenged to do more for missions & be able to take on additional missionaries.
I was in the States for three weeks in May, for two graduations & to report back to seven churches. We had six students at West Coast Baptist College with one of our young ladies graduating. While in California I was able to spend three days with Pastor Kye Kim, preaching Wednesday & painting his church Thursday & Friday before leaving for Virginia.
I reported back to six churches in Virginia, it is always exciting to go back to churches & see dear friends & to know of their faithfulness throughout the years. What a tremendous honor & privilege it is in spending our lives serving the LORD & identifying ourselves with such dear Christians.
The highlight of our trip was attending our oldest grandson graduation from High School, & spending quality time with our daughter & family. I think this is an indication that I am getting old!!! I keep telling people, I’m just getting ready for Heaven.
We got back 2:00 am. Friday June 4th just in time to get ready for the wedding rehearsal for Stephen Hinebaugh & Jackie Tao. Jackie has been a member of our church for the past several years & met Stephen while attending Ambassador Baptist College. The wedding took place the following day, & everything turned out wonderful. One of our ladies that was in charge of organizing much of the wedding came to me with a big smile on her face the day of the wedding & wanted to give God the glory for answered prayer. It was scheduled to rain for at least three days straight & the LORD allowed the day of the wedding to be a beautiful sunny day, so we could have the reception outside.
Please let me leave you with a prayer request: Stephen & Jackie are looking for a church in Canada or the States where they can serve the LORD, either as pastor or an assistant. If you know of any position available please let me know.
